Su Casa Community Housing Development Organization undertakes several initiatives aimed at addressing the multifaceted needs of the communities it serves. These initiatives are designed to address issues such as affordable housing, economic development, first time home buyers education and certification. In addition, we have slated services that include credit counseling, Homebuyer Trainer Toolbox, along with Money Smart Financial Literacy, Texas Financial Toolbox, and Counselor Max management information systems.

Affordable Housing

At Su Casa, our primary focus is the development of affordable housing for first time home buyers. We firmly believe that owning a safe and secure home is a fundamental aspect of an individual’s overall well-being and their quality of life. To address this crucial initiative, we work diligently to provide a variety of housing solutions tailored to meet the diverse requirements of each community.
Our efforts encompass the construction of new housing units and the thoughtful renovation of existing properties. We have future plans to also provide comprehensive rental assistance programs. With these initiatives in place, we remain committed to our mission that every individual has access to a place they can genuinely call home, while creating a healthy, more vibrant community for all.

Educational Programs
Education is foundational for community development, and Su Casa is committed to ensuring that all children and adults have access to quality educational opportunities.
Su Casa has plans to implement first time home buyer certification training, along with after-school programs, tutoring services, and scholarship packages that encourage academic achievement. Additionally, Su Casa seeks to provide upcoming vocational training and adult education classes to help residents acquire new skills and advance their careers.
After-School Programs
Su Casa's has on its drawing board an after-school program that offers a safe space for kids to learn and grow. With homework help, arts, and sports, we will soon ensure every child feels valued. Join us soon in creating a supportive, active community.
Tutoring Services
​Our mission includes a future tutoring program that will be tailored to deliver the scholastic needs of each participating student. A key element of this learning experience is Su Casa’s ability to reinforce each student’s self-esteem and confidence. As part of this programming, we will be adding dedicated tutors committed to helping each student reach their personal academic goals.
Scholarships
Once implemented, Su Casa's scholarship program will empower students by providing financial assistance for their education. We will be supporting individuals who demonstrate academic potential and a commitment to community by helping each recipient achieve their dreams. Community-Driven Nonprofit Organization
Understanding that health is paramount to a thriving community, Su Casa has plans for various health and wellness initiatives. We will soon be hosting health screenings, mental health services, nutrition programs, and fitness activities that encourage a holistic approach to the community’s overall health and wellness. With the addition of these future programs, Su Casa will soon be contributing to the overall vitality and health of the communities it serves.
